Rowan University’s AJF-PRSSA members attended the Public Relations Student Society of America’s National Conference (PRSSANC) in Philadelphia this October. Buzzfeed listed PRSSANC as public relations students’ favorite holiday in an article titled “10 Things Only a Public Relations Major Would Understand.”

Brian Price, president of the PRSSA’s National Committee and a second-year graduate student at Northern Michigan University, kindly made time during PRSSANC’s Coffee with Champions event to share why he believes public relations (PR) students consider PRSSANC their favorite holiday.

Post #6 — Anne Klein and Beka Rendell co-host AJF-PRSSA’s “What Not to Wear & How Not to Act” event

On Wednesday, Oct. 23, AJF-PRSSA executed its “What Not to Wear & How Not to Act” fashion show and etiquette presentation. President of Anne Klein Communications Anne Klein and Stylist, Wedding Planner and Owner of Styled Creative Beka Rendell teamed up to co-host the event.

Since members will embark on their journey to public relations students’ favorite made up holiday — the Public Relations Student Society of America’s National Conference (PRSSANC) — on Friday, Oct. 25, Both Klein and Rendell spoke to students about proper etiquette, attire and how to make a lasting first impression in a professional setting.
